No what it seems like is hes trying to account for a ships drift, and if anyone else as in a Faction mate/player move the ship the pod will keep your place on the ship, even if you aren\'t logged in Instead of logging back in to empty space.

I've noticed while playing if you are in combat while moving from sector to sector the way your ship will change causing issues for Traveling, to just Battles. I don't understand why this happens, but there should be a way to fix it so that your ship doesn't turn when you enter a new sector...

I had the same issue, but found out that I was aiming at the wrong thing. Try and move the Docking module above the rest, and then aim at that. It should work since I did have the same issue, untill I aimed shot and waited about 3-5 seconds.
