I open my 'starmade-starter.jar' file and when i click 'start game' nothing happens, the 'starmade [launcher v9]' closes and then nothing pops up afterwards.

What render distance would you recommend?

When I face the same way as me ship when it's facing north ( press 'c' ) I don't lag but when i face different positions, especially south, I start to lag. Anyone know anything about this problem?

Where is the server based at?

Connected Textures I think that in a future update you should put in connected textures. This would mean that blocks would look a lot nicer when put together. I think this would make the game all the more better, as in better graphics. I am sure that many people would love this idea. p.s...
