I to am using an AMD card (Radeon HD 6450 just over 3 years old now...) and i average at about 60-70 fps with shaders off and textures on realistic (Everything else on default).
I have 8GB of ram and i find i usually start dropping frames like mad (6-7 fps) when i have some other kind of program...
A smaller fighter ship outfitted to kill shields (High damage energy weapons and power drain beams) should be able to kill the shields of a larger ship but only if the ship is faster and the pilot is more skilled.
A large ship should always be able to deal massive damage to a smaller ship if it...
I feel like people are misunderstanding my suggestion.
What i'm suggesting is instead of having a hotbar slot for each individual block type, You simply compress it into 1 slot and then cycle between them via the advanced build menu and it will then update all the slots to show the current block...
You know how various hull blocks like plextanium and brown hull have various different forms like ramp, Penta and Tetra?
You know how they all take up their own individual slots in your inventory and only seem to serve to waste your time when building and make collecting loot a pain?
Well i have...
But if i made a giant ship that still had more final thurst than the fighter, the fact that the fighter turns way faster than me is pure BS.
Sloooooowly turning your ship to face your next location is one of the most dull and annoying parts of the game at the moment.
This is why \"lol...
Just taglines are only really used to give anybody who has played those games an idea of how the game works in that way.
The way you\'re using them is fine but instead of saying \"It\'s part Minecraft!\" You could say \"Like Minecraft, you can build anything you want with few restrictions!\"...
Da hell?
I understand that the game is in alpha but your job is to review the game, not just spit taglines at people to make them interested. Give examples of things in the game and then explain how it works or how it doesn\'t work.
For instance- Starmade\'s Expansive building features make...
I have no feedback for this thread.
There is no better way to implement this than stated in the OP\'s proposal, the mechanics already exist and it means hardened hulls won\'t be useless anchors anymore.
Plus it could mean ships now have to account for the design for the hull and add another...
Is that certain parts may be added based around how under or over powered certain other parts are.
So by the end Schema is going to have quite a head ache and will pretty much have to rebuild all stats from scratch.
What i reccomend is to balance everything now and just make everything cost 0...
When refining Cubatoms there is no option to craft multiples at a time so to do this currently you need to spam Mouse1 in order to refine the number you need.
What the OP is requesting is a Mouse2 functionality that allows you to refine multiple cubatoms at once instead of having to do it...
I like the current system of everyone having the same blocks to play around with because it encourages good ship design.
You need to work around the limitations the current blocks provide to keep weight down and still having enough power for all the extras you want.
What if instead of having the same pirates strewn about in random places, the game spawned these enemies based on how far away from spawn you are?
This idea implements a Threat level for the enemy spawning code and a list of ships for that code to choose from based on level.
-The levels go...

This is the third person mode.. I guess? You get it when you press F11.
It confused me greatly when i first pressed it beacuse it zooms you out so incredibly far.
Schema, this is a bug, you can make the ghost become not even visible...
But now there isn\'t much of a goal in Starmade...
I thought the goal was to get a giant ship and base and become the ultimate space billionaire badass.
But now that your giant ship has the same shields as a low level fighter ship, what\'s the goal now? To amass the most numbers?
