      Happened to me too a couple times lately. There was no noticeable lag at the time but so far it only occurred when working on fairly large ships…

      Missiles direction

      Missiles - just like any other weapon - get fired in the way you are currently facing. So as soo as this bug: http://star-made.org/content/oriented-cockpit-freezes-ship-controls gets fixed you can just jump into a sideways-facing cockpit and have your missiles shoot out sideways.

      So I've just recently started playing again and was really excited about all the new stuff that has bee added in the past few months… Especially the oriented cockpits, since those would - in theory - allow you to shoot downwards (ode sideways or even backwards…).
