Founder of The USS Fleet (United Space Syndicate) in 2014, first base was established at a sector near spawn, this was a Golden Age for the Faction, as it continued to grow financially, the biggest problem was that at this time, constructing ships was not of a main skill of the USS, and so it became more of a test faction, buying ships off of the Catalog and expanding its single station, eventually growing so fast that it was not possible to properly construct structure between the docks. A foolish mistake later brought an end to the station, and the USS set outwards, with many enemies, and few allies, it had saved up plenty of credits to purchase one of the largest ships on the server, and later improved it to be able to easily withstand attacks from multiple ships at once, the biggest upgrade was adding a large Rail gun Turret to the top, capable of shooting enemies from over 2 sectors away. in late 2014, the server was reset, and the USS didn't return until 2015, when it changed servers and established a connection with the NFD. The USS was terminated and a sub-category of the USS began constructing a small outpost several sectors outside of the home base. A painful bankruptcy ensued, and the outpost was forced to scavenge shops which had materials needed to contruct the new Flagship, the Hell's Gate. Once constructed, the ship was used to target pirate raids, and successfully rid all pirate stations near the outpost, and was later retired as the NFD entered a fierce battle with a new enemy. This enemy was extremely dangerous, and wiped out the outpost within a few days after the attack began, with the sub-category surviving with a single fighter, which was re-docked at the main station, soon after the Server wipe came, and all factions were forced to start again. the NFD faction needed only roughly a week to construct a new station of great size, with the USS pitching in slightly, but mostly to construct a better salvage craft for later use. The USS began to design new ships with early prototypes of basic engineering such as moving wings and other designs. It designed roughly 5 heavy fighters and frigates when the NFD ended the war, and began a peace treaty resulting in the NO (Nest of Orion) a group in which 3 factions joined and forged a strong bond. The server was left, with the USS left in control of all forces, and later it left to join the NFD on the new server. The USS slowly leaned away from Starmade, and entered a long hibernation, until it awoke in early 2016. This year it began a project of using all the new tech to upgrade the Hell's Gate to the new standards, and once it neared completion, it was decided to start a project on a new Destroyer, roughly a bit bigger, called Archon. this new start for the USS caused it to be renamed Procyon Engineering, and it began a new era in the story of this legendary faction.
