I definitely like the idea of being able to put the nav display in a holo tank - maybe (if there is a free block ID) we could have a Holo Tank block, and a display could be spanned over a cuboid set of blocks to make a larger tank?

How about being able to span a logical display across multiple blocks? I recall the computercraft mod for Minecraft did this - a rectangular array would be treated as one large display of the appropriate size. It would also be handy if we could put the radar display on a block (or multiblock...
