I like it very much,but one thing I would add to it is, that I would put a pic of a real planet or a painted one as an out view and than make the planet, like you suggested (just see the structer in a closer lock). sry for that long one and corectt me pls if I made some mistakes in the comment.

My suggest is, please add better docking options, because I want to build a ship with a symmetrical dockingbay (docked ships faced fronts to the middle) so please add it.
