Hello Astronauts!
I had an idea to make my faction a ship that would act as a home base. It would be big enough for various ships and would look amazing as well as be effective. I've been updating this post as much as I can!

Spoiler: Engine Design

Before this thread I had only done one piece of work on the computer. An engine design. It is the final design that I may tweak slightly but I am absolutely sure I want to use it.

I've been working on little bits and ideas for this beautiful ship every now and then. Latest progress:

My Idea was initially to add containers that contain storage that seem to be part of the hull, but can detach with ease. this however has been extremely difficult. Containers when undocking seem to move about violently and get stuck inside of the ship blocks.
I will upload pictures soon, but for now Im focused on this problem.

Looks nice so far. Also, the current shape kind of reminds me of Star Wars Star Destroyers (particularly the Executor-class).

I dont know what you mean!
But if you are trying to say you think the shining highlighted bits are lights, oh no, they are just white hull.

Ah yes, I looked up a few images, however there are large differences, But I see what you mean

Halo is strongly influenced as a style I've grown to love. Same for Starwars, but tbh im trying as much as possible to branch out & keep it fresh while still consisting of elements I love.

I think Halo does come through a bit, and to a lesser degree Star Wars. But by the same token, it looks very original. Almost like it's a ship designed to fit into one of those worlds, without actually originally existing in them, if you get my drift. :P
