    ZimmTech PirateFleet Panpiper 1.0

Five pirates for the ZimmTech: Pirate Fleet Competition.

All five of these pirates feature active jump inhibitors. They are designed all of them to be maximally effective combat ships for their mass. These will not be easy loot. They also all have several point defense guns to make them less vulnerable to the standard anti-pirate tactic of spamming swarm missiles.

    Bandit (100 mass)
Not a huge threat except in numbers. They carry ion missiles to help take down shields and an overdrive beam weapon that does penetrating damage, so even if they aren't strong enough to crack advanced armor, they can still do system damage.

    Tie Fighter (200 mass)
An iconic shape that was actually a coincidence, though the resulting name obviously is not. Also uses a rapid fire, overdrive, beam weapon to do penetrating system damage four blocks deep.

    Marauder (480 mass)
A brutally effective, completely unsubtle fighter that will crack advanced armor blocks at full HP with every shot, ten times a second!

    Outlaw (~800 mass)
A short range missile barrage ship that will launch a devastating spread of homing missiles every eighteen seconds.

    Buccaneer (1000 mass)
A ship completely optimized for long range missile duels. Either be in a better missile ship or have plenty of overdrive to close fast.

Tie Fighter is missing a connection between its upper north east and lower south west power conduits. Its connections are a bit sloppy in general.

Marauder's power generation could be improved by reducing the number of power groups down to four, freeing up 70 or so blocks without changing the ship's shape or power generation at all.

Otherwise, solid designs. I like your choice of overdrive to maintain slim profiles.
