The Void Republic found themselves adrift in the Brierie Galaxy. After a brief exodus, the survivors fled to a nearby galaxy, including the Scorpians.
After rebuilding their fleet, the Scorpians built a larger ship based on firepower. The first ship of this line was VDR SC-02 Wraith. The ship became well known as a hull eater and station killer, doing about 650k dps with it's cannon and beam systems, along with having modest 1.6m shields with 75k/sec regeneration. The ship is also heavily defended against missiles, containing numerous CIW batteries and a forward facing flak field.
