The USS Defiant is a Defiant-Class Tactical Escort
Specifications:
Decks: 3
Crew Compliment: 50
Armament: 4x Pulse Phaser Cannons, 2x Quantum Torpedo Tubes
I tried to make this Defiant as accurate as possible but my skill at building isn't as great as I would like. This is a faithful recreation, which means no turrets. One thing I did do, was change the colour of the weapons, so autocannons (phasers) appear yellow (the orange colour looked too red) and missiles (torpedoes) appear blue.
The ship also sports a complete interior
Deck 1:
-Bridge
-Captain's Quarters
-Transporter Room 1
-Upper Main Engineering
Deck 2:
-Mess Hall
-Crew Quarters
-Transport Room 2
-Escape Pods
-Sickbay
-Medical and Science Laboratories
-Cargo Bay 1
-Main Engineering
Deck 3:
-Airlock
-Shuttlebay
-Cargo Bays 2-3
I also added spaces at the bow and stern where you can add your own modules, the idea being that you can customize the ship for different missions. You will find that there is a lot of empty space on the inside of the ship; I could have filled that up but, seeing as the Defiant is supposed to be agile, I figured it would be best to keep the mass down as much as possible.
It wasn't possible for me to make a working turbolift (i.e. gravity elevator) with the space provided, but I placed gravity modules inside the turbolifts so when you need to ascend a floor, just deactivate the gravity and reactivate it when you reach the desired floor.
Regarding Escape Pods: Because the default size of the docking module is so large, it's not possible to fit escape pods onto the ship but what I did was make the outer shape of the pod out of blast doors and on the inside, there is a gravity module turned upside down, so if you want to evacuate the ship, all you need to do is open the door and then activate the reverse gravity and you'll fly away to safety (or as far as the ship's gravity extends)
One thing to note, is that I installed a working red-alert system, but it currently only affects the bridge (I will change this in later updates)
