Designed to serve as an early interceptor/light fighter defense, its twin quick-firing AMC cannons are equipped to quickly drain shields and chip away at armor on enemy fighters. Lacking heavier weaponry, the Trelin MK3 relies on heavy fighter support to deal with larger or better-equipped targets. It best functions as part of an attack wing, working in conjunction with other fighters around it. It relies primarily upon its agility and hardened armor for defense, as this model supports only moderate shielding for a fighter its size.
