The Royal Birdcage Carrier
This is a Carrier which i have been working on for quite some time.
When it was started it was based on 6 docked PSU which got replaced by Aux Power after Aux Power was introduced.
Regarding the upcoming Powerupdate and my lack of time to work on it i decided to share it now as long as it still works.
The Hull is finished but the interior is basically empty.
There is one complete empty deck for crew quarters and whatever.
The Bridge is empty and the two decks above are almost empty except for the front facing conference rooms.
The main body is filled with systems which gives you some 40m+ shields, multiple lock on missiles, two big beams, scanner & jump drive.
What you get :
A Computer controlled Flight Deck for the following vessels:
28 drones which can be launched with an on/off switch.
Remember to turn it off before recall.
16 Hexastrike Fighters which can be launched in groups of 4 or all 16 at once.
4 Falcon Misslebomber which can be launched separately or all 4 at once.
From the Flight Control you can additionally choose to launch all vessels at once.
A computer controlled starting sequence will make sure that all vessels will start without jamming. Also there is logic to prevent a jam when recalling all vessels.
! Attention you have to manually disable the two Forcefields of the Flightdeck (one button) before launching any vessel otherwise you will have a jam on the rails !
And there is a giant rotating Sensorarray on top which is hard to see in the pictures.
There are 5 Transporter Terminals to reach the important areas of the ship.
