Tai Hao 50 (Standard)

    Tai Hao 50 (Standard) 51

"Tai Hao 50 is not only effective, but also super awesome."

"I always thought of rotatory salvaging as a marketing trick, but when I got to try Tai Hao 50, I immediately sold all my other salvagers."

    "It works, 'nuff said."

"It's so cool to have all this expansion space! At last I can bring my kids to work!"

Quantum Comet Corporation's Tai Hao series is all about cost-effective rotatory salvaging. The mid-sized Model 50 is optimized for asteroid mining. Although smaller, the optimization results in better performance in asteroid mining even when compared to bigger Model 100.

Crew quarters for four persons, and plenty of expansion space for e.g. advanced reactors, scanners, jump drives or weapon systems. Two powerful QC-engines throttle Model 50 quickly into target speed, and makes the ship nimble in moving among asteroids. Shield system's are strong enough to defend against light fire, but it's recommended to keep jump drives loaded to avoid troublesome situations. Warranty is void anyway.

Uses two Gasboy's GS-cargo containers by default, but can be operated also without them.

Here you can see the salvaging areas. Small is Tai Hao 25, Medium is 50 and widest is 100.

Here is a demonstration of the salvaging power only after one rotation. Our artificial testing asteroid has depth of 30 (5 block per color) and you can easily see how Tai Hao 50 punches trough that in only one pass. Two rounds should be enough for nearly any asteroid.

Checked your vessel in desperate search of solutions to somewhat similar problems while building mine. It is very well-built, loved the whole second deck (although D1 and D3 somewhat lack decor and look not so excellent).

There is an issue though, the lift seems bugged and does not respond to calls from D2 somewhy.
Also, you can decrease the amount of inner ship remotes by implementing timers for deployment and folding stages of its mining arm.
