Named after the aria in the final act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot, the Nessun Dorma class heavy frigate was created after a disastrous visit to an unknown alien planet. Named in memory of the many crew of the light frigates that perished there, forever shall they sleep.
Created to work in tandem with an escort of Reavers or the Midnight Sun Light Frigates, the Nessun Dorma brings needed staying power to the field while maintaining a decent amount of maneuverability and speed.
