This compact scanner can be attached to any docking area giving any ship high-speed scanning capabilities. While not as fast as a custom built scanning ship this module boasts the ability to be equipped to any ship - opposed to refitting and optimizing for power and scanning efficiency. This module also has power regen perfectly optimized for its small size - it will complete the scan before it runs out of power.
Please note: to fit enough power and scanner modules in to this compact form and still have it look decent there was no space for shields. There is no Bobby AI installed so enemy AI will not target it as they assume it is unmanned. Research suggests that turrets do not last long with even shields. Research Source: Drone R&D
