A little repair ship I made because ever since the patch my "selected target" turrets on my docked cruiser will randomly attack same-faction ships that undock from the station while I am 12 sectors away mining asteroids. That started when I added drones and made them a fleet, so watch out for that on your own servers.
There are 3 Inner Ship Remotes on the hotbar: The first extends the swing arms. The second begins the rotation. The third activates the repair lasers. You may need to click the laser button a few times but do be sure to click them all in order. Reverse the order when the repairs are completed.
If you're OCD about putting the swing arms back in their exact original locations, you can watch the AST Computers, one of them is right-side up. That is the "top" swing arm. If you're not OCD then it doesn't matter how you put them away as they are all the same.
