Peregrine Class Medium Fighter

    Peregrine Class Medium Fighter 1DF-C-1

    - START TRANSMISSION -

    Lore:
The Peregrine Class is the beginning of a new era in Bephinius-Per design - perhaps as revolutionary as Daylight Designs or the third generation. Don't worry, we'll still be there, maybe not in cheerful white and red, but there.
This fourth generation - the latest, sleekest, most functional generation yet - is packed with logic, standardized components and a snazzy new look for both branches. For myself, I'm switching to yellow for these engines, and using some hull as well.

But enough about Bephinius-Per. Let's get to the ship itself. Low-profile, fast, heavily armed and shielded, capable of landing on planets, deploying up to four troops, shutting down engines and then shooting all the way back to orbit to dock with its mothership. Capable of outlasting an Isanth Zero and putting up a good fight to ships with much greater mass - this is the perfect light weapons platform for military, commercial or personal use.

    Author's Note:
This design was inspired by the general shape of several ships from Elite: Dangerous, (most notably the Sidewinder) but not intended to be a direct replica of any of them.

    Stat Card:

    Additional Stats:
    Dual 100% Punch Through Cannons
    Logic - Toggle Engine Glow
    Logic - Deploy Landing Gear
    Logic - Open Forward Door

Please leave reviews - they are much appreciated, and help contribute to better future designs.

I hope you'll enjoy this ship and eventually add it to your lineup - until then, best of luck from Bephinius-Per Yards!

This ship, she looks great. I can say however, in a one to one match up, the Hunter dominates. So try to keep this ship away from combat.

The Hunter does outmass it, though.
a nice looking ship and an admirable run about it could do with more thrust though it feels quite sluggish when in gravity but a quite nice ship in all other areas could do with reworking the entrance

Thanks for the review! I'll see what I can do about the thrust. As for the entrance, I worked on other types for a while and couldn't get any better than this - if I put it on the bottom, it would be hard to dock easily, and if I put it on the top, it would be a little immersion-breaking for landing. Still, I'll look into it.
