Orion Co's Carrion frigate is a 3rd generation frigate and a direct predecessor to the Lock cruiser. While the Dragonslayer frigate just aimed to fill a hole that the Lock left after being retired, the Carrion took many design philosophies from the Lock. A bulkier frame than the Dragonslayer hides a massive increase in firepower and defensive capabilities. The Carrion frigate is the final word in strength.
Carrion is armed with 16 broadside "Scalehide" turrets, 4 light assault turrets, and 1 "Whiplash" heavy turret. It also packs two fixed weapons systems, the "Komodo heatseeker array" and the "Tooth & Claw flak cannon" array. In addition to this, the Carrion comes with a pre-docked Raven - CV fighter.
