I wanted the skin to be anonymous, with no bare skin. So for the head instead of being the typical face and hair I made it a firefighter-inspired SCBA mask and a balaclava, with a small oxygen tank.
The references that i saw also portayed the helmet visor as an opaque black so you can't see the mask unless your helmet is off.
