A monument to my humble beginnings.
This submission is comprised of two ships, a small carrier and fighter.
The Carrier:
The carrier can hold two fighters one per hanger bay. Its weapon system is targeted primarily at taking down shields leaving overall block damage very low; this ship is not supposed to face opponents directly but is more for offering support to smaller ships by removing the shields from their target.
Amenities are limited due to the small amount of room on a vessel of this size, as a result it must restock its supplies every couple of months. There is a small brig intended for unruly crew members and as such they are not deemed suitable for prisoners due to insecurity of the cells. While the ships quarters may not be very spacious they get the job done.
The Fighter:
The fighter is capable of planetary landings and has deploy-able gear for just such an occasion. Its weapon system is primarily focused on block damage as it is designed to work in tandem with the carrier. A radar jammer allows it to remain undetected on approach or retreat but cannot be sustained throughout combat. There is a small cargo hold for transporting supplies to and from the carrier.

I wish I had found out about this contest earlier as I thoroughly enjoyed partaking but sadly ran out of time towards the end, all the same I am glad to have had the chance to submit a ship.
