Nomad Industries: ASF Helo

    Nomad Industries: ASF Helo 2017-01-01

With the growing popularity of the Police F4 Valkyrie the military has contracted Nomad Industries with the development of a new fighter. One Advanced enough to make near seamless transition from space to ground. To take off and land on almost any terrain. An asset to all battlefields.

The answer was the ASF Helo.

The MK1 Helo utilizes a large propeller to give upward lift when in atmo. Sometimes simpler is better. The propeller diminishing the affects of a planets gravity allows for increased maneuverability giving it an edge over conventional planetary vehicles

Note the anti grav and propeller are separate on the hot bar and the pause in the propeller is a side affect of having it toggleable. Any tips on the logic would be much appreciated

Our engineers still believing they could give the Helo greater lift without sacrificing any of the ships abilities ripped out the Helo's propeller and began deeper research of the new anti grav systems. The result was a more than doubling in upward thrust at the expense of higher material cost.

I opted for the anti grav model utilizing the superfluid being spun at high RPM. Great craft and all. Would be great however if you could increase the allowable pitch of the corona in every direction for snappier directional transition and higher speeds in future renditions. Perhaps a bare bone disc like craft would be optimal for this purpose...

Thank! Don't forget that you can alter your ships trust and maneuverability. All you have to do is press R on a thruster. Tweak to your hearts content and develop the ship into your flight styles. And don't worry, I am liking the look of this ship and will continue to play with this style.
