These are background skyboxes that replace the default background images in starmade. If you don't like the procedurally generated sky or if your computer cannot run it, then this sky pack is for you.
I've taken inspiration from several real nebulae. This is the version I made for the older versions of starmade. In this pack there are 6 skyboxes (123MB):
To install
1) backup your starmade/data/sky/generic directory
2) rename one of the nebulae directories generic
3) replace your old /starmade/data/sky/generic directory with your new generic directory
4) turn on hi res background in starmade launcher and make sure procedurally generated backgrounds are turned off.
