This is a ship I've been working on for a faction. I really like Dalmont's designs so I base my ships on them. The ship itself is the one I'm most proud of.
Stats:
Mass: 3,357
Length 66, Height 27, width 39
Power: 8.4million, at 202k/sec
Thrust: 3,292
Shields: 126k, at 10k/sec
Armor hitpoints: 942k
Armament: 6x 200k Missile-Beam-Explosive weapons. These drain around half power, so I like to fire them sequentially for an endless stream.
Personal Pros:
-Details. I covered some important parts with armor plates, armor belts, cuts, and other names for random details.
-Pretty good for its size. A ship this big will probably do fine with 6x 200k explosive sniper missiles.
-Nice interior. I'm not that good on interior design, I usually just incorporate some details from other hallways.
-Overall decent. Good power, decent shields, good weapons.
Personal Cons:
-I feel like I added too much detail. There's not much room for the eyes to rest for a bit.
-I didn't check some power consumptions. When I first tested the ship out, the Radar system slowly drained the ship's power. I guess it would probably take 2-3 minutes for the power to drain completely. I did find some big empty space for more power, so the radar should do fine now. However I decided to add more Ion modules. Those did fine on the first version, but I don't know how much they drain now.
-Pretty slow, in my opinion. I like small ships to be fast.
-I didn't include an anti missile system. I figured with that many shields and the fact that I plan for this to be a heavy-assult invader, I feel like I didn't need to. That and I originally planned for this to use heatseekers.
Any feedback is welcome. I'm still pretty knew to the game, and learn something new every day.
