These little guys were my first run at using something other than turrets to defend my base. Designs change and concepts evolve but I still keep a few dozen of these little buggers around for fun.
Small disposable craft designed to be used with a built in AI or an expendable pilot.
Intended to be deployed by the dozens as an alternative to minefields or used as minesweepers themselves.
They also work well within larger fleets as "hard chaff" due to large heat signatures and the ability to confuse enemy AI turrets and craft.
There is a small access cover under the cockpit that can be used to access all of the ships needed systems.
Did I mention they fit in a default docking bay!
