I hope you like fish. If you do, you might enjoy this submission.
The thought behind this fleet is some kind of nomad faction who call themselfes "Gliders". As their name suggests they drift around through the depths of space, making use of solar wind with their fin-like solar sails. This means of movement is directly based on fish using currents in the water, hence the aquatic design of this fleet. Thanks to this rather inefficient way of travel, this faction is not capable of achieving high speed or using jump-drives.
1. Scout (explores ahead of the main fleet to discover threats)
2. Miner (salvages asteroids and keeps the fleet stocked with materials)
3. Bomber (the only offensive ship in this fleet, protects the fleet from enemies)
4. Transport (houses everyone incapable of using a ship)
All of the above are of course just suggestions for the possible nature of this fleet.
These ships use no fancy logic contraptions, just the occasional turret.
