This turret is not self powering, and requires at LEAST an additional 2.5m energy to fire its missiles. You are MORE THAN WELCOME to adjust its internal systems to your liking. There is enough space for a max-radius Missile-Beam-Overdrive rocket, just remember the missile computer orientation...
the default system is 2 missiles from a 216/216/216 Missile-Beam-Piercing set inside a 180* mount. This allows it to hit almost any enemy in a 5 sector radius around it if positioned in a favourable location on a ship or station. When firing directly above/below, there needs to be clearance as the missile will Arc a short time after it leaves the barrel.
The Piercing effect allows it to have bonus anti-armour properties and in case you havent known, Piercing on missiles still deals FULL damage. If both missiles hit, Their statistical shield damage is 300k. However if the missiles detonate in a Sphere, they can deal up to 600k damage in a sphere to the nearby blocks. Turret features on Upcoming Thor from Raiben, the Defender, the medium missile boat, and one or two others.
