I like the organic look, I like the colors. I love the idea of using purple terrain blocks on a bug ship. Especially as interior walls. This is something I had not considered on my bugs.
I did notice that the ships are very light on interior, and also have unused space under the skin. I recommend you dig maybe 6 small spherical rooms in the big ships, and maybe a 3x4 space in the tiny ships. And then transfer all the systems you removed into the unused spaces. Then move the ships system computers to an easy to find wall.
I could not find a door leading to the small center ships core.
It also wouldn't hurt to add a camera to the 3 tiny ships, towards the front.
I like the use of damage pulse weapons in the arms of the one big ship. I can imagine a new player being frightened by the ship getting right up in his face.
Maybe consider adding a weak scanner onto one of the small ships, to make it like a scout ship.
the centre ship is designed to be the drone of the fleet, with the two either side being the so called fighters. hope that is explanation enough as to why there is not a door in the centre ship. (and that if there was a door to the core, the ship would not be able to generate enough power to even move)
