Igneous Class (G2) small mining ship - DRSM 1

Meet the Igneous class (G2) long-distance mining ship. Commissioned by the Republic resource council, this model quickly became the standard for small Mioran mining ships, with thousands being made to meet the demand of Mioran planetary mining cooperatives.



This ship is fully kitted out with a state-of-the-art medical bay, spacious living quarters, and all the scanning tools needed for a two-person crew to find and mine any asteroid near or far. With a two-tier, Mk12 swirl plasma drive and long-range alcubierre warp system, it is capable to 0-100m/s in 2 seconds and reaching the farthest corners of the republic in mere days.




Its 500k capacity shield system makes it more than capable of holding out in combat, combined with it's ultra-manoeuvrable thruster system making it capable of avoiding any incoming weaponsfire. Lastly, it has a high-capacity cargo hold which, in conjunction with it's 'always on' mining lasers, makes it capable of long-term mining missions with fewer return runs and larger loads per-run, fantastic for any organisation needing large amounts of minerals quickly
