A new gun battery designed and constructed by Iapetus Heavy Industries and Shipyard. Originally designed for use on Tartaran Imperial capital ships and defensive emplacements as an anti-strike craft battery, the Hydra pattern (named for it's multi-barrelled design) is also every effective at stripping ships of their shielding and armour.
Iapetus has decided to release this effective offensive battery to the general public in whatever capacity they see fit.
