in order to respond to a possible rival against our fighters supreme mobility* here at RESS we decided to add a little bit of flare to out current NGF**
so we made a docking clamp that included a decent jump drive for long range travel, or any much needed "deep strike" operations. such as in the midst of a large battle, and some fighter support is needed. or similarly in the midst of battle a little surprise might turn the tide of battle.
we decided to release this as a separate blueprint because we think that having the option to have the mass produced fighter, and the mass produced interceptor version of it be separate is a good idea. and that it allows for better construction at shipyards that might not have the facilities to produce warp drives, but are still charged with supplying a force with fighters.

the fighter as before, with an updated chair as we fought it was not quite the most comfortable.

yes that is a gladiatorial arena that we send enslaved children into to fight for our entertainment. we did check that there weren't any children on the ground before we landed**
oh and it might not be the most pretty, but it is completely disposable and just serves to get the pilot into battle, and not out. because of this thorough thought went into making the clamp "gtfo" as we call it. with the help of some glithiness and planning, the clamp will sporadically evacuate the area, providing a bit of a distraction when the fighter enters real-space.
