Excalibur Long Range Salvage Ship

Excalibur Long Range Salvage Ship 2.0

    Greetings all.

I'm here to introduce, straight from our shipyards, the Excalibur Long Range Salvage Ship.

This nice little ship is properly designed and equipped for your long range scavenging and salvaging needs. She is well equipped with rooms for every needs, such as Transporters, Quarters (only two), shuttle bay, large cargo hold for storage of salvaged materials, two Universal Standard Docking V2, and two miniature shuttle bays. The salvage array is about 40 modules long in a 12x16 solid, arranged in a checkered patters, linked to a cannon computer so objects will melt away like wax.

The ship itself was designed to be "budget friendly" for anyone playing on servers, hence the use of hull instead of armor. The ship is quite light and there are lots of free spaces for if anyone wishes to add more systems, defences, power, offences etc. etc. to it.

Its Stats are as shown below for the more technical details:

I love the Excalibur when I start on a server i get one of these running its role-play ready and i cant get enough of melting asteroids whilst still having a cabin and a nice interior hopefully the escape pods and the shuttle come out soon as this is my favourite ship on the docks keep up the good work
This is a seriously beautiful ship! Sleek, with smooth clean lines! No pointless or distracting surface detailing. I love the use of intentionally exposed systems for decoration, and the exterior illumination is great!
The interior is fully finished, detailed, and looking good, without feeling cramped or cluttered.
I'm in the process of replacing the salvage beams with weapons to use this as my preferred pirate hunting ship.
Looking forward to the future updates!

originally i wan going to make it an attack cruiser, but at the time we needed a salvager so there was a change lol, i thought the exposed systems as decor were going to be a bad idea, but im glad it turned out to be the opposite. i could do some more changes with the interior though, but all in all im glad you liked it :)
