Today we are providig you with with some new rugged gear, The TG4 tug.
Wreckage, old ships or other immobile chunks are polluting your shipyard? new modules or other gear needs to be moved from A to B without rails or intricate docking procedures?
Look no further and let one of our "Squids" do the job.
An elaborate setup of 4 seperate, 45°-tilted tractor-beam pods on a rotating basis* provides a straight pull with minimal tumble, unlike systems with vertically oriented beam arrays and point of application that tend to cause the targeted body to spin around it's own center of mass unless their beam's point of application on that body is equal to that body's center of mass.
What you missed about the Cowfish you get with the TG4!
Towing, maneuvering and stopping heavy metal requires some tact. For the space truckers out there without those magic fingers we added a telescopic camera arm that can also be used to dock and haul additional cargo.
It is recommended to switch to that camera and zoom out until you see what you are hauling and use the beam's four damage indicators (0) for targeting. This way you can determine where their combined point of application lies and wether or not you are about to lose contact to your cargo. If you need to stop the cargo simply brake, then deactivate the tractor beams until both of you come to halt. If you brake too abruptly, the cargo may crash into your rear and tumble in the opposite direction again. In this case use short burts of tractor beams to stop the cargo.
For safety purposes each segment of the ship is fitted with basic amounts of shields to prevent damage by accident**.

*rotation is optional and does not necessarily aid in hauling cargo. It looks cool though and our engineers where bored
**"accidents"is a broad term and does not include everything from spilling coffee to ramming warhead modules on purpose
***we will actually still do that...and more
