Greetings!
Here comes my Mining Fleet for the Fleet Build Contest. My Ingame Faction is called the "DMI" (Daves Mining Industries) and so i stayed with that name for now. I worked hard the last days to give this Fleet as much quality as i wanted to and i hope you are fine with the result.
First an Image for a Base Overview:
First i want to say that i stick on a well compromise of Design and Function with my Ships, so that they look believable and give a good Immersion on Exploring them. I really like to give them as much Interior as possible, even if it is really hard on small diameters sometimes. also i combine the Interior with the Exterior so for example the "Ressource Mixer" on the Mining Ship is viewable from outside and you have access to it on the inside of the Ship. Also i always "connect" Reactors with some kind of lines to Thrusters. At least i try to use just a simple amount of Logic in Ships without overdoing it. On the Freighter you can undock the Containers, Push/Pull their content and that's it for that ship.

Now some details to the Ships:
-DMI- Pegasus Class Explorer:
The Pegasus Class is the smallest Class in my Fleet and excels on speed and so on leightweight. No weapons, a trustfull amount of Shields for running away on max Speed and just a Basic Layer of Hull.
The Pegasus Mining Explorer was build from the DMI to Explore new mining Sites fast and before someone else can do that. For this job it has a small Mining Beam Array for taking probes.
This Ship can be buyed by a Player right from the start with the starting gifts!
-DMI- Vritra Class Fighter
After various attacks from Pirates on Mining and Cargo Ships the DMI started building a Ship that can defend a couple of Mining Ships all alone. The result was this Ship. An intimidating Look, powerful Beam Weapons and Strong Shields for such a small Fighter.
-DMI- Baku Class Stone Cracker
The Baku Class Mining Ship is the proud of the DMI Fleet. It can spent much time in Deep Space collecting Ressources from various Asteroids. Supported by the Freighters of the DMI Fleet it is designed to spent even months on lone Mining Sides by filling up the Cargo Containers of Freighters, that are placed at Mining Sides. it supports a 5 head Crew with all they need.
-DMI- Leviathan Class Freighter
With 75k Cargo Space these Freighters can simply Buy out a Single Trader Station in Minutes. While these Freighters need Support from Fighter Wings the most time when carrying much Cargo they have a quite nice Speed when empty. For a simple amount of self protection they have 2 Multi Shot Antimatter Defense Turrets against Missiles.
