A second-generation shuttle-craft, the Shrike is designed to replace the aging Conveyor. As such, it has been equipped with an upgraded powergrid to support its new jumpdrive system. Testing has proven the new jump system capable of fully charging even while the thrusters are engaged at maximum output.
The Shrike is a small and agile craft, capable of slipping in and out of a planet's gravity well with minimal effort. As a civilian service shuttle, it sports a lightweight aluminum hull, but lacks shielding systems or weaponry.
