This sort of thing is absolutely great for when you are building a ship. There is however a problem that I consider so severe, that despite this being exactly what I am looking for, I would not use this build. I want to build my own ship with a bridge appropriate to my ship. I do not want my ship core in the middle of the storage room! If this build had the storage area 4 or 5 blocks above or below the ship's core, so a bridge could be built above or below the storage room, this would be perfect. But I am not going to pilot my ship from the storage room, sadly for me.
