Lore:
A newer development by Bephinius-Per Intelligence, the "Needlepoint" is a medium frigate with significant firepower, as well as a sensor scrambler, excellent for sneaking around defenses - or annihilating them.
The CF-X can take a punch, too. Its shields have an impressive recharge rate, albeit sub-par capacity. However, equipped with shield ionizers (47%) and armor boosters (55% - 25% effective) it can survive more than most ships its size - provided you've got a good pilot flying it. In addition, its three grid-based thrusters give it an impressive TMR - 1.3, greater than most Bephinius-Per ships, and still more than other designs. If that isn't fast enough for you, it has an extremely powerful jumpdrive producing over 100% in volume ratio.
Author's Note:
You'll notice that the design is different than my other Gen III ships - a bit less cluttered. Also, I've begun with the integration of my standardized templates - this ship uses a large standard reactor. Yay!
Unfortunately, it doesn't like lag - you'll run out of power for a half a second or so. It isn't very serious, but it you feel the need to fix this, add a few power capacitors.
Stat Card:
Additional Stats:
136.9% Jump Drive
47.2% Ion Effect (passive)
25% Piercing Effect (passive)

I hope you'll enjoy this vessel and eventually add it to your lineup - until then, best of luck from Bephinius-Per Yards.
