    Auto Cannon (8 Barrel) Logic Driven 2016-04-08

    Effectively this is an 8 barrel Cannon system. Not effective against Small craft. Designed as a main battery against Stations and Capital ships.

    Current rate of fire is two cannons per second.

    Max range is 6000 Meters. (Cannon + Beam)

    The uploaded version includes Explosive, Punch Through, Piercing, and Ion effects.

    Main draw backs: Does equivalent damage to weapon system of equal size that are not logic driven. Must use ship to aim weapon.

    Benefits: Uses less energy per sec to fire than standard weapon systems of equal size. Can have Multiple Effects in one weapon system. Constant stream of fire on target. Allows the pilot to use other systems while this one works.

    Currently working on Beam and Missile Variants of this system.

    S.C.R.A.M. Ship Works.

    The clock on this is not particularly efficient or interesting, and the input system is a bit strange.

    In my opinion, this is a fairly lackluster (not bad, but not interesting) idea, with an okay, but substandard execution. I think the steps to making this a better piece of logic would be to;

    1) Use a rotor clock to fire the weapons rather than a loop of rails.
    2) Make it so that the button the inner ship remote goes into goes back into the inner ship remote. This would give a bit more of an indication that it's a toggle rather than a switch.
    3) Use rail speed to control the clock turning on/off rather than the position of the rail. This reduces latency between when you try to turn it off and when it actually does.

    Thank you for the input. I was originally going for a Vulcan/Mini gun design, but ran into issues. So I applied Occam's razor and went from there.

    Again thank you for the input :)
