Based upon the Aurora Surveyor of the Aurora Series, this version is modified as a pirate ship.
When the band of StarMade Pirates took delivery of their bulk purchased Aurora Surveyors, they set to work modifying the ships for their own use.
First, they removed the "bunk" compartment and moved the entire engine and power plant compartment forward into the resulting space. Then, they streamlined the engine, further decreasing the mass and therefore the thrust needed to be produced by the engine, in turn enabling the engine to be further reduced. Lastly they "painted" their newly modified Auroras in their preferred grey and black (of course), to match their Isanth, as well as removed all navigation and running lights.
The pirate's Aurora is a different consideration to opponents when compared to the Isanth. It's smaller - making it more agile and harder to hit at range, has twice the shielding - making it harder to damage when hit, and carries a small turret - increasing it's firing arc from just forward to 360 degrees. However, it has a smaller engine producing less thrust than the Isanth - making it slower, and is only lightly armed - carrying two 8 block Antimatter Cannons as opposed to the Isanth's two times 30 block cannons.
