"The first large space-faring vessel to be mass-produced during the Age of Travel, the Acre-Class was the pinnacle of Earth Pony technology at it's time. As the Fleets spread out across the Universe, they were quickly rendered obsolete due to their limited range, but many still serve in the Fleet today as hardy workhorses, taking on everything from escort to rescue missions, sometimes all at once."
Themed just enough for the passing glance of an experienced viewer, without spoiling the feel of a space game too much.
This ship is my first 200-block long vessel, built with the intention of actually making a ship in line with those like HMS Celestia, while trying not to lose out in functionality and practicality.
However, it does lack an interior, with the core currently in the center of the ship and the bridge only serving as somewhere to put the faction module.

If this does pick up some interest I will consider making more ships along this line, following in the footsteps of BlizzardOfOz.
PRECAUTIONS
Testing it in servers, I might advise you to stay away from heatseekers, as they tend to wreak havoc with the Acre-Class's turrets. Namely, wiping them all out if the missiles are powerful enough. Replacement of them might be required, but that's up to you.
The arrangement of AMCs I picked does a fair bit of damage spread out over a cloud of bullets, and is quite suited for tearing rents in stations to get the loot, but it is a fairly short range, low powered weapon, and may be unsuited for duels.
Also, try not to fly into your own cloud of missiles. It burns.
