LORE:
This strange vessel was found adrift in deep space with many of its key systems still running. It appears to be entirely of alien construction, containing unusual and exotic technologies.
Its engines are sub-par for a vessel of its size, but it packs a powerful weapons array, heavy armor, and a device that appears to drain shields from attacking vessels.
Its interior is spartan and appears to be designed for short-range missions, as it lacks bunks or other accommodations of any sort, although this may be due to the physiology of the original alien users.

The door is on the rearmost part of the sphere.
