ship yard option to disalve factioned ships within the yards rectangle

    I was thinking
    what if we have the option to just ditch all the damaged, outdated ships, turrets, junk etc etc into the boundaries of a ship yard, then go to the yards computer and select a option that dissolves every object with the same faction as the station, one by one

    if you then fly in a ship with a loose turret that got stuck it will take apart both
    instead of just a docked ship

    We already have the option: Deconstruct without design. Takes a bit more work than just chucking the ship into the shipyard's area, but it is there.

    does it also automatically deconstruct any turrets that go shot lose but still hang in there ?
    without the need of having to place every nug and granny on the yard cube

    As far as I know, deconstruct without design will do what you need.

    If it's a big ship, you should hook the shipyard up to a cargo system so all the blocks stay together.

    I really like the idea of not having to dock ships to the anchor block. I would like to see the Shipyard Anchor be deprecated, in favor of a simpler to use, but much more versatile system.

    When a ship crosses the shipyard boundary, it's size is checked. If it's too big, a pop-up message is shown. If it will fit, then a red outline of the boundary appears, visible only to the pilot. Once the ship is fully inside the boundary, the outline turns green. Five seconds after the pilot has exited the core, the ship is docked at it's current location. Any ship inside the shipyard is listed in the Shipyard Computer. From there, you select the ship to work on and place an order as usual.

    An additional order to Recycle All could be added, with an extra warning given before starting.

    For loose turrets, rail-doors, etc, you could just push them into the shipyard, and they would auto-dock after 5 seconds.

    I agree here some of my ships have the core towards the top and back. They usually only fit in shipyards twice its size. You could of course move the anchor but that is a real pain.
