Can't place block. "Area not initialized yet"

ran in to this error message while i was building. i couldn't place blocks down all along the bottom of the wedge blocks but i could place blocks everywhere around it. Tab+F6 does nothing. i even took a screenshot.

it means that 16^3 area of block is not prepared for loading or something. Happens sometimes if you build into too many new segments at once. If you turned off Lighten mode, it should be pretty black there as well.

-Reload the sector (quit single player),
-Could build around it (I find placing block along the other sides of the segment will prompt it to load)
-Go to the other side of your ship and place a block (Since most ships are Odd-symmetry, and segments are even, you can use symmetry to force a block into that area and make it load.

Removing the block adjacent to the area and sticking something in with advanced build mode always fixes the issue for me.
