Ok folks, I was absent a long time. Real life stuff, had not much time to play and the new patch made my old builds somewhat lacking. So I started a new ship :D
I will try to do something different with the shipclass. Instead of using mass I will use the role the ship will have in combat. For example the one above will be a destroyer. A destroyer in my system will be a ship intended to fight ships larger than himself. Fast in, hit and bail out. A cruiser will be against ships smaller than himself. Battleships use heavy turets. Titans are against servers and so on. Heavy and light will be used to give a lose idea of how big the ships is.
The ship above got already the following systems,
- overdrive
- jump drive
- ion defences 60% (max)
- beam-cannon-ion main weapon with 100% support, to bring the shields down
- missile-cannon-explosive 100% support, to rip the victim apart
- turrets ... I love turrets :D
