No offence, I know its not the main one, but I dont like it.

I feel it's stereotypical of an idie game, which is bad considering the number of indie games at the moment, and its not awesome enough to grab people's attention. It looks like it was done by someone with little skills with video editing skills, it also shows the boring side of the game more than the awesome side, such as mining, and creating a faction...

i agree ..i dont have fancy editing skills, but i did my best.. in a very short time (1 day).
you must understand..i had to show all features, factions, territory, pirates, stations, gates, jump drives, galaxy, and other info about the game in a veeery short video, this was not meant to be a trailer, but i managed to make it look decent and interesting enough to make the watcher go through it,think of this as one of the dev update vids, just in a more fancy way

A lot will come... Creatures! That feature is most likely going to be the next step. And maybe, just maybe we'll also finally get NPC factions. I must admit that I haven't been playing much lately, partly because I want to play KSP too, but mostly because if the salvage power usage. I only use the crafting aystem, and that threw everything out of balance. So I'm just waiting for Calbiri to fix it, and then I'll start playing again. That reminds me, I still need to check the dev build to see what changed.

I like it. It would be hard to include everything that StarMade has to offer in one trailer, but I think this does a good job of conveying the community aspects of the game.

    Suggestions for better English usage:

welcome to A new universe ('the' implies the viewer already knows a previous universe, which he doesn't)
with AN infinite number of planets (missing word)
make your factories bigger and better (the trailer previously referenced making factories)
invite others to join your faction (it is not sure the faction has several fleets, but it is sure they are a faction. however, 'create your own faction' is referenced earlier - you could get around this by saying 'create your own faction' 'or join a friend's...')
warp your fleets across the universe (we already know a universe is infinite)
take control OF star systems (or 'rule over...')

Yes, i have the soul of a copy editor. Sorry.

    @tenk11kamikaza and @schema ,

The trailer looks okay. Its exciting that there is a new trailer, but it doesn't showcase what Starmade really has to offer. If any of my students presented something like this I would give them a C. Below I list a few things wrong with the trailer.
    1. The shots of scrolling through menus and inventory are boring and don't really show the best starmade has to offer.
    2. The slow pan of the galaxy map was too long and does not demonstrate expanding your territory. Many of the shots are just a tad too long. They demonstrate the concept and proceed to linger for just a bit too long.
    3. In general show don't tell.
Example1: "infinite number of planets". And you show only one planet.
Example2: "dangerous universe" . Are there supposed to be pirates in that shot?
Example3: "you're not alone". That is a very nice barren planet you have there.
      and many more.
Here are a few suggestions to make the trailer better.
    1. Condense the faction shots to the one of a fleet and the base.
    2. Show an actual battle to demonstrate taking territory. The one you have is weak.
    3. Get rid of all shots of menus and inventories. I know you want to showcase the new capabilities, but shots of the GUI are super boing. They don't entice me to play at all. Try to come up with some other way to showcase the crafting system and faction additions.
    4. Go back and look at the first trailer. It is awesome and practically perfect.
Lastly here are a few things you did well.
    1. The sound track is brooding and dangerous. It captures what you wanted to accomplish with the new update.
    2. You showed the different types of stars to demonstrate 'infinite star systems' do this more with other concepts.
    3. The builds you showed were awesome and really demonstrate what is capable with starmade.
