    Indeed a challenge!
    I took a look at the turret problem. Turns out that the main cannon computer wasn't connected to its corresponding barrel. I connected the ccoputer to its barrel on all the turrets and saved the design. then spawned in the new pirate muraders and they were all shooting down missiles. :)
    You mentioned something about turrets problems on your Corsair
    I looked at them too. They seem to be working. I have noticed that if you spawn a ship in as your own, you have to manually activate the turrets. but if they spawn is as AI, the AI will activate them itself. could that be the problem you are having?
    Anyway its a good ship and I look forward to seeing it spawn is amoungst my own collection of pirate ships

    Thank you VERY much Mr Irksome, I REALLY appreciate your debugging my idiocy for me. :-)
    I decided to go head to head with just two of them vs my Defiant. Had the PD worked, I would have taken some serious damage.

    Needless to say, this guy is very effective. I tried to see how well I would do against them with my Jammer turned off. With Ion Effect, and 500K shields with 50K regen. two of them had my shields down to 60% before I could get the jammer turned back on.

    Awesome. lets hope pirate PD gets fixed soon :)
