When I turn them down it looks different, but when I turn them up to max it does nothing.

I believe the Draw Distance used to work before, when I turn it up the dark space turn blue and I could saw distance planets and stuff, then I turn it back down. Later I found that because my ship is too big I can't see the whole ship render so I decide to turn Draw Distance back up, but this time it just won't work.

It appears that they only make difference when the number is between the minimum number and the preset numbr.

Please tell me if this is a bug or not, if not please help me solve this problem. I really want to see my whole ship. Thanks very much.

They do exactly what they say.

Draw distance increases the maximum distance stuff gets drawn (not distant planets), I think it is measured in segments (comparable to chunks in minecraft), but not sure about this.

MaxDrawnSegments simply increases the total amount of rendered segments that will appear on your screen, you will only notice a big difference if you are close to something really huge, that has a lot of segments. If you would make it too low, not every part of it might render then.

The point is when I turn them down I see difference but when I turn them up I don\'t.

When I\'m near my ship and I turn down MaxDrawnSegments only a small part of it render. As I slowly turn it up more of my ship render as well. But when the number reach the preset number which is 1500 my ship stop rendering more parts.

This album is what my ship looks like when in different settings of MaxDrawnSegments, from 500 to 5000. You can see it stop render after 1500

If these two setting can\'t help me see my whole ship then what will do the trick?

Try testing the setting when looking at a planet (not distant but near by and drawing) and see if it makes a difference

The planet render more every time I turn up the Draw Distance untill 12, then it just get brighter when I turn the setting up. MaxDrawnSegments is pretty much the same, which stop rendering after 1500 but the planet didn\'t get brighter even when I turn it up to 5000.

Have you ever been able to see the whole planet? What card do you have? How much memory is available for the GPU?

I am able to see whole planets with my settings set at max, so I wonder if your GPU is limiting it regardless of the setting.
