Switch to OpenJDK, Oracle Java will be pay-only in 2019

      Well ain't that a bitch. Makes sense from a business standpoint but still sucks regardless.

      One of the first things I do on a fresh StarMade install is point the launcher to my system installation of OpenJDK. This would save me a few clicks :)

      Wouldn't be the first time this has happened... GIF, compress utility, MP3, JPG... just to name a few... fortunately all of those software patents have expired.

      At least this helps me find something to screw around with to see the setup of for later. Been needing to refresh my java skills anyways.

      I thought the bundled version of java that came with starmade was already openjdk...

      If I was near my computer I would actually check, instead of merely conjecturing...

      Code (Text):
      java version "1.7.0_80"
      Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_80-b15)
      Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.80-b11, mixed mode)
