Stuck Outside The Ship

Well this is going to be really awkward, but I was building a ship in a shipyard and I closed the interior off so there was no exit or entrance to the ship. I didn't think it would be a problem, but I accidentally pressed "r" which threw me not only out of the ship core but out of the ship itself. Now I cannot access the core anymore as there is no entrance and I cannot make one because the shipyard wont allow me to destroy blocks in my design without me being in the build mode. Is there a way I can access the build mode via shipyard computer or something? Or a way to enter through the design blocks of the ship because I don't want to start building my ship all over again.

If you are an admin you can get in the ship using tab+F8 other than that you might need to get a buddy to unload the design, then you position yourself near the core, then he reloads the design, you should be able to access the core this way .
