    It sounds like you fixed that turret power bug and made piloting big ships from a PowerPoint presentation to a home movie in terms of FPS and quality. :)

    Also, I think your bugfixing and optimizations will have a very profound impact on the meta as now people can use arrays of cannon-cannon-10%Explosive without making the game chug and having the enemy glitch away from your stream of bullets.
    And let's not forget Missile cannons and Cannon missiles now :D

    Now we also need to run more tests to see how beam beams do at range, cause you mentioned that they were improved somehow? Or was that in block destruction? (Which is also appreciated).

    that was block destruction, yes. Both cannon and damage/salvage beam profit from it.

    Homebases still seem to cause a lot of lag when people dock and undock, but I'm glad that servers and clients won't die anymore when a bad pilot crashes into someone. Do you think it'd be possible to fix homebase docking lag at some point, schema ?

    All those optimizations make the coders of other, less smoothly running games look bad. Maybe each dev team should employ at least one cat.

    All hail the optimizations ! Now my mining ships that was built to mine when other players were online without lag can be built at least 2x as big! Time to swallow asteroids in one volley instead of 3 !

    Niiiiice. I'm one of the ones who's going to enjoy these optimizations, cause I can lag a home server with 200m ships duelling with one other player online. Plus a couple AI vessels. Also, loading into it is not fast.
